Year 11 BSU students received certificates for their IGCSE Mathematics examinations, which they had sat twelve months early. Eleven students spent Year 10, studying incredibly hard in preparation for these important examinations in May and June, earlier this year. As a result, this week students received IGCSE certificates as a result of their efforts.
In Mathematics, the British School of Ulaanbaatar offers an accelerated programme which sees some students go on to study the Additional Mathematics IGCSE syllabus in Year 11.
Cambridge IGCSE Additional Mathematics encourages students to further develop their mathematical ability in problem solving and provides strong progression for advanced study of mathematics or highly numerate subjects. Also, the course stretches more able candidates and provides a smooth transition to Cambridge International AS & A Level Mathematics.
