BSU has celebrated the annual World Book Day organized by UNESCO to promote reading, publishing and copyrights. In the UK this day is observed on the first Thursday in March as this coincides with the release of special edition versions of books.
Throughout the day, Students have dressed up as their favorite character from a boo or author and teachers have read parts of their favourite books over the tannoy to celebrate literature. The school library run a bookmark competition with the best one receiving certificates and house points.
