On Thursday a group of Sixth Form students participated in the UK Maths Trust Senior Mathematical Challenge. The UK Mathematics Trust Challenges over 700,000 students across the world take part in challenges. The aim of these challenges is to encourage mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems. The problems are designed to make students think. BSU students from Years 12 and 13, who study either AS / A Level Maths or Further Maths participated in the Challenge.
