What is BSO?

The British Schools Overseas inspection is a voluntary scheme. Schools who participate in it and undergo its rigorous inspection will be recognised by the Department of Education and Skills (DfES), the Government body in the UK that sets standards for quality of provision. BSU has undergone the inspection and has been awarded a DfES number which demonstrates the school is able to be measured against standards set in the UK. The accreditation process takes place every three years and BSO schools must achieve and maintain UK aligned standards and quality of provision of education.
